Project Zomboid platforms currently mean PC, Mac and Linux in the developer’s official game description. The checked Steam store lists Windows, macOS and Linux support and still describes the game as Early Access.

Build 42 Stable is not version 1.0

Stable describes the current release branch. The current default is 42.21, while 42.22.1 is a Pre-Release hotfix for testing. A stable Build 42 release does not, by that word alone, establish that the game has left Early Access.

The developer’s current Build 42 overview covers the revised world, crafting, animals, fishing and multiplayer foundations. Later work remains possible. Hizzle does not attach a guessed final-release calendar to the word Stable.

Match a guide to your store and mode

The branch steps in this guide are written for the Windows Steam client. The official game page also links GOG, but that does not establish identical beta menus or same-day rollout details on every storefront.

Before following a recipe, compare the version actually shown in the game. Also identify whether the world is ordinary solo, a custom sandbox, an online server or local split-screen. Those distinctions can change instructions more than the operating-system label does.

What is not established here

UNSURE: a complete future console/mobile roadmap, every regional availability rule, controller compatibility in every setup and cross-store connection exceptions. Hizzle has not established a current official console achievement catalogue and does not invent one.

This page reports the current published PC platform scope. It makes no claim that Hizzle installed or played the game on any of those systems.
