Rust Save The Planet achievement: Recycle five empty food cans using a recycler. Reported bugged: the checked method author reports unreliable or delayed credit. This is a historical report; current Halloween/October patch review does not establish a fix.
The published route uses empty bean/tuna cans. Keep the action separate from cooking cans into metal in a campfire, which is a different processing method. Count actual cans recycled and inspect the result.
Hizzle does not promise that changing server, restarting or repeating extra batches repairs the trigger. Exact current counter scope, station-type parity and a reliable workaround remain UNSURE. Use Rust how to get scrap: plan a useful recycling trip for the general recycling tradeoff, not as proof of this achievement's current state.
Evidence and planning limits
Hizzle's provisional difficulty is 2/10, an editorial estimate from the setup. Exact completion time, server eligibility, counter resets, guest credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE. This basic route has no established paid-DLC requirement. Console Edition has a different catalogue; UNSURE: console trigger parity. Current patch review does not prove an unlock works on every server. Hizzle has not tested this in-game.
