Rust Radical achievement

Rust Radical achievement: hit an irradiated player with a Water Pistol. Single source: the checked route uses a Water Pistol on the shooter and a Water Gun held by the target. The held-target condition comes from one method origin, not Steam's short description.

Keep shooter and target equipment distinct

Arrange another player who can participate in the attempt. Have that player hold a Water Gun and enter a location where their radiation reading actually rises. While they are irradiated, spray them with the Water Pistol and inspect achievement credit.

The checked Water Pistol recipe costs 75 Metal Fragments. The larger pumpable Water Gun costs 125 Metal Fragments. Neither item table lists a workbench requirement. They are different tools despite both using water.

Hizzle recommends watching the actual radiation condition instead of guessing from a monument's name. Exact radiation threshold, protective-clothing effects and the current need for the target's held gun remain UNSURE. This goal needs a splash under the named condition, not a promised player kill.

Planning and evidence

Equipment/DLC: Sunburn Pack equipment is used. The checked guide says an owner can supply items; personal crafting entitlement and borrowed-item trigger parity are separate questions.

Other players: Another irradiated player is explicitly required.

Hizzle's 3/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset/shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless stated above. The Steam group/card label does not prove equipment needs no DLC. Console Edition has a different catalogue. A patch review is not an in-game test; Hizzle has not tested this method.
