Rust Sunglasses at Night achievement: equip sunglasses after sunset. Single source: the published method performs the equip action at night. Wearing them continuously through sunset is not the same sequence described by that route.

Equip them when it is already night

Obtain suitable Sunglasses, wait until the sun has gone down and then equip them in the clothing interface. Check Steam credit after the action. The current basic Sunglasses recipe lists 30 Metal Fragments, no workbench requirement, and one pair per craft.

Hizzle recommends using the named basic item for the first attempt so that cosmetic substitutions do not become another unknown. The older guide mentions alternate sunglasses, but current trigger parity for every Twitch or cosmetic variant is not independently checked here.

Exact clock thresholds, weather darkness and server time changes remain UNSURE. A dark indoor room is not proof that sunset has occurred. This draft gives no real-world waiting time because server day length can vary.

Planning and evidence

Equipment/DLC: Sunburn Pack equipment is used. The checked guide says an owner can supply items; personal crafting entitlement and borrowed-item trigger parity are separate questions.

Other players: No helper is stated by the requirement.

Hizzle's 2/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset/shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless stated above. The Steam group/card label does not prove equipment needs no DLC. Console Edition has a different catalogue. A patch review is not an in-game test; Hizzle has not tested this method.

UNSURE marks what this guide hasn't established. Hizzle Guides research from public sources; we don't claim in-game testing unless a page says so.
