Rust Something of a scientist myself achievement: kill five Scientists. Single source: one published combat route identifies Scientists at monuments such as Military Tunnels, Excavator and oil rigs. Those are candidate locations, not a measured easiest route.

Count the named enemy and your own kills

Prepare appropriate combat equipment, healing and a return route before entering a guarded monument. Identify Scientists, defeat them and check the counter toward five. Hizzle recommends recording each clear personal kill rather than assuming every nearby AI death is yours.

The separate On Track achievement names Tunnel Dwellers. Similar clothing or weaponry is not proof that every NPC type contributes to this Scientist counter. Assist credit, teammate kills, heavy variants and server changes remain UNSURE.

Do not spend on an oil-rig expedition solely because an older guide called it accessible. The checked route is a researched draft and does not establish a current safest monument or fixed ammunition requirement. Rust On Track achievement covers the moving-work-cart condition for its distinct target.
