Rust Paparazzi achievement

Rust Paparazzi achievement: photograph another player with an Instant Camera. Single source: the published route uses the Instant Camera, not a surveillance camera or a screenshot key.

Make the other player the subject

The checked recipe is 75 Metal Fragments and one Gear, with no workbench requirement in the item table. Obtain the camera, equip it, frame another player and use its primary photo action. Inspect the resulting photo and achievement result.

The item description also distinguishes secondary-fire zoom and reload focus selection. Use the bindings shown in your own controls rather than assuming taking an operating-system screenshot performs the same action.

The older method warns that only the first picture from a camera registered for its author. UNSURE: whether that restriction still exists. Making the intended player the first subject of an already available camera is a bounded attempt; repeatedly crafting replacements is not a proven fix. NPCs, portraits and pictures of an empty base are not established substitutes for another player.

Planning and evidence

Equipment/DLC: Sunburn Pack equipment is used. The checked guide says an owner can supply items; personal crafting entitlement and borrowed-item trigger parity are separate questions.

Other players: Another player is the required subject.

Hizzle's 2/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset/shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless stated above. The Steam group/card label does not prove equipment needs no DLC. Console Edition has a different catalogue. A patch review is not an in-game test; Hizzle has not tested this method.
