Rust I should buy this Soundtrack achievement: listen to the Rust soundtrack for 30 seconds. Reported bugged: a historical thread reports failures with the deployed box and successes after switching to the Portable Boom Box. This is a reported workaround, not a guaranteed fix.

Select the intended audio and check playback

Use a Boom Box's audio settings to select the Rust soundtrack source, confirm playback and listen for at least the published 30 seconds. Do not assume an arbitrary internet station or silent tape is equivalent to the named soundtrack.

If the deployed box does not register, the checked discussion includes two separate comments reporting success with the portable version. Hizzle suggests trying an already available Portable Boom Box before making a larger setup. Its current recipe lists 120 Metal Fragments at Workbench Level 1. That makes the alternate tool concrete without promising that spending those materials repairs Steam credit.

The thread began in 2023; later replies still discuss the issue. A support reply quoted by a player is not a directly authenticated current developer statement. The exact station identifier, internet-audio settings and present unlock reliability remain UNSURE. Current Halloween/October review supplies no blanket achievement fix.
