Rust Bad Neighbour achievement: use a megaphone inside another player's TC area. Reported bugged: historical player comments include failed credit despite attempted cupboard proximity. They are reports, not proof that every current server is broken.

Check the tool, voice and location separately

The current Megaphone table lists 75 Metal Fragments and 50 Wood, crafted at Workbench Level 1. Its primary description says the attack action activates voice broadcasting. Obtain a working megaphone, enter another player's building-privilege area and use it to broadcast voice.

Hizzle suggests arranging the attempt with someone who owns a separate base. Standing close to a wall is not reliable evidence that you are in its cupboard radius; inspect the actual building-privilege state without assuming a fixed radius in metres. The goal says another player's area, so your own authorized cupboard is not a proven substitute.

The 2022 discussion contains reports of attempts failing with occupants both online and offline. Neither occupancy choice is therefore presented as a guaranteed fix. Current authorization, clan/team ownership and exact trigger checks remain UNSURE. A microphone working in another app is not evidence of transmitted in-game audio.

Plan the attempt

Equipment/DLC: Megaphone is listed under Voice Props Pack. Owning, crafting and borrowing are separate access questions.

Other players: The requirement involves another player’s building area, not a proven need for its owner to stand beside you.

Hizzle's 3/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate, not a tested rating. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset scope and every missable exception remain UNSURE. Steam places this entry in its public group; the shared card's Base game label does not mean the equipment is free of DLC. Console Edition has a separate catalogue. Hizzle has not tested this in-game.

UNSURE marks what this guide hasn't established. Hizzle Guides research from public sources; we don't claim in-game testing unless a page says so.
