Rust Enter Night trophy: Metal Facemask route

Rust Enter Night trophy: the historical console method obtains a Metal Facemask, equips it and kills a sleeping player. A planned partner disconnect is the older alternative to searching for a sleeper. Current native credit is UNSURE.

Obtain the exact item first

The Xbox author describes finding the mask or receiving one crafted by a friend. Its displayed name matters: Hizzle recommends checking the item before planning an encounter. This draft omits old loot percentages because that author's figures cite the PC wiki and do not establish present console rates.

Agree on the attempt with your partner, put valuables away and meet before they disconnect. Confirm that the Metal Facemask is equipped, then complete the historical sleeping-character kill route. Carrying the mask in an inventory is not the described equipped state.

Keep the edition and action record

If it does not credit, record the application, server, equipped item and recipient state. Exact sleep detection, shared-damage rules and unlock delay remain unresolved; repeatedly replacing the mask is not an established fix.

Difficulty 4/10 is editorial. The planned route needs two players. Exact acquisition time, missable/DLC scope and current server eligibility remain UNSURE. Older Xbox and copied PS4 advice do not verify native PS5 triggers. No in-game testing.
