Arrange an inventory transfer

Ask your partner to put valuables away and choose a meeting place before disconnecting. Hizzle recommends keeping the attempt separate from combat so you can identify which action completed. No location is guaranteed safe.

Use the crafting menu to find the actual Note item. The old source lists 10 wood; check the current console recipe before budgeting. After your partner disconnects, open their sleeping character's inventory and move the Note into it. A mailbox delivery is a separate action, not this historical method.
