Deadlock how to get access and download

Deadlock how to get access: Valve's current public listing says access is limited to friend invites from playtesters. A wishlist is not an immediate download, and the store still lists the full release date as to be announced on November 4, 2026.

Start with your Steam account

1. Open the official Steam listing linked in Sources we checked. Confirm the developer and publisher are Valve.
2. Ask a friend who already has the playtest to use the current invitation option for your Steam account.
3. Watch your Steam account for access, then install through your own Library when it becomes available.
4. Once installed, use Deadlock what to do first: a practice plan before diving into a full match.

UNSURE: Valve's public store notice does not give a guaranteed invite delivery time. We have not verified a universal waiting period, current invitation-button location or guaranteed eligibility for every account. Do not turn a stranger's reported wait into a deadline.

Is the game fully released?

No. The listing calls it an early-development build with experimental gameplay and temporary art. A playable invitation is access to that build, not evidence that a complete public release has happened. There is no confirmed release date to put in your calendar from this source.

Hizzle's practical suggestion: if an invite appears missing, check the account receiving it before reinstalling Steam or downloading an unrelated installer. We do not provide invite brokers or collect account credentials.
