Deadlock how to win: destroy the enemy's weakened Patron after opening the base and completing its first phase. A good kill score is useful only if it helps your team take the space and objectives needed to finish.

The beginner route through the defenses

1. Push a lane past its Guardian.
2. Take Walker opportunities with teammates. Deadlock how to unlock flex slots explains the inventory reward.
3. Open a route into the base through Base Guardians. The current strategy reference says at least one pair must fall before Shrines can be damaged.
4. Destroy both Shrines to make the Patron vulnerable.
5. Attack the first Patron phase, then recognize its invulnerable transformation. The current Patron reference says this begins after the first half of its health bar is depleted.
6. Finish the weakened form in the pit. It cannot be damaged from outside the pit, and defending heroes inside can give it additional resistance.

You do not need to clear every lane before attempting the base. You do need a safe route, enough living teammates and an opening that lasts long enough.

What should happen after a won fight?

Hizzle's decision prompt: name the best reachable objective before chasing farther. Can your team clear a Walker, open the base or defend a threatened lane? If everyone is low and the enemies will return, buying and regrouping may preserve more than an overextended push.
