Deadlock how to get more souls: collect the waves you can safely reach, secure their rewards and buy useful items instead of chasing every fight. Souls power progression and buy equipment, so having the same kill score does not mean having the same strength.
Diagnose your missing income
| What keeps happening? | Hizzle's next-match correction |
|---|---|
| You chase an enemy while troopers die elsewhere | Finish the reachable wave before following a low-value chase. |
| You win a last hit but ignore its rewards | Learn the ground/floating distinction in Deadlock how to deny souls: which orb to shoot. |
| You carry enough money for an item through several fights | Plan the next buy with Deadlock beginner build: McGinnis first buys, then use a safe shop visit. |
| You die alone beyond your team's safe area | Farm a reachable lane or camp with an exit, rather than the richest-looking enemy corner. |
| You group for every skirmish | Ask which lane or objective the fight will actually protect. |
Can farming still be risky?
Yes. Haunts award haunted souls, which secure over time and can drop if their carrier dies first. Their visible reward is not a promise that you will bank everything safely. Check your route back before clearing another camp.
Compare your soul total and purchases with the opponent you intend to fight. A large gap is a reason to change the fight, not proof your hero is broken. There is no universal souls-per-minute target here: match state and what is safely available matter.
