Rust New Horizons achievement

Rust New Horizons achievement: enter the Deep Sea while its event is open. Single source: the published achievement route crosses into the event area by boat. Its custom-boat-only advice is narrower than the developer's documented access options.

Read the current event state first

Inspect the live map and event timer, prepare a suitable boat, fuel and return plan, then travel through an available Deep Sea crossing. Confirm arrival in the event area and check credit. The original Naval announcement allows suitable vessels including player-made boats, RHIBs and PT boats; building your own boat is not stated as the sole access method there.

The older guide describes a three-hour opening cycle. UNSURE: today's exact cycle, server overrides and closing grace period. The developer describes intermittent opening and closing, so follow the actual current timer instead of treating a historic schedule as universal.

The method author reports server-eligibility problems in the Deep Sea chapter even on attempted official servers. That is a historical warning, not a reliable server-selection workaround. Entering, swimming, looting and reaching a city are separate goals.
