Rust I'm the Captain now achievement: reach the Cargo Ship bridge. Single source: the published route boards the event ship and climbs to its bridge, but the guide's old claim that the ship never stops is outdated.

Board first, then find the bridge

  1. Locate the ordinary Cargo Ship event on the current map. Prepare equipment for scientists and possible player encounters before boarding.
  2. Use an available boarding route. Facepunch's April 2024 update added harbor docking, side access doors and containers that can carry players aboard.
  3. Reach the ship's upper bridge area and inspect achievement credit. Merely seeing the ship from shore is not the named goal.
  4. Keep an exit plan before the ship leaves. Hizzle recommends treating the bridge visit as its own objective rather than committing to a complete loot run.

May 2024 changed docking to both harbors when both exist, and added a map indication of whether docking has happened. Those primary updates supersede the older moving-only description. Exact current spawn, stay and departure timers remain UNSURE here; do not borrow Deep Sea ship rules for this ordinary event.

Plan the attempt

Equipment/DLC: No paid pack is established for this ordinary event route.

Other players: No helper is stated by the requirement; the event is contested online.

Hizzle's 4/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate, not a tested rating. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset scope and every missable exception remain UNSURE. Steam places this entry in its public group; the shared card's Base game label does not mean the equipment is free of DLC. Console Edition has a separate catalogue. Hizzle has not tested this in-game.

UNSURE marks what this guide hasn't established. Hizzle Guides research from public sources; we don't claim in-game testing unless a page says so.
