Rust On target achievement: kill another player with a mortar. Single source: the published method uses a placed mortar and its shell ammunition. The developer explains that aiming has variation rather than a universal precise angle.
Use the mortar's firing process
Obtain a functioning mortar and suitable ammunition through normal play, place it on valid flat land and prepare an aiming/observation plan. The official introduction distinguishes a shell aimed at players from one focused on structures; inspect the current item description before loading.
Aim using the normal controls, observe where the shot lands and adjust as needed. The developer recommends binocular-assisted observation and notes recoil and inaccuracy. Hizzle does not publish an unverified angle-to-distance table, guaranteed one-shot damage or a fixed recipe cost after the guessed wiki item URL failed.
The requirement names a player kill. Damaging a structure or having a different weapon finish the target is not proven equivalent. Exact shell substitutions, assists, team relationships and current launch restrictions remain UNSURE.
Planning and evidence
Other players: Another player must be the mortar kill target.
Hizzle's 5/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, resets, shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless resolved above. No paid pack is established by this published route; item access and blueprint availability must still be checked. Console Edition has a different catalogue. Hizzle has not tested the method in-game.
