Rust Smooth Sailing achievement

Rust Smooth Sailing achievement: travel 3 km with a companion in a Kayak. Reported bugged: a checked player discussion reports a stuck distance counter and different results between two companions. No dependable current fix is established.

Arrange a real two-person journey

The primary Kayak description says it seats two and requires a Paddle. Board with a companion, bring paddles and travel toward the 3 km / 3,000 metre requirement. Check each person's progress separately; one person's award does not prove the other received credit.

The Kayak recipe is 200 Wood, 75 Metal Fragments and 50 Cloth, at Workbench Level 1. One Paddle costs 200 Wood, 15 Metal Fragments and one Metal Blade, with no workbench requirement in the checked table. These are per-item costs, not a complete two-paddle bundle.

The older method coordinates opposite-side paddling. Its fifteen-to-twenty-minute estimate is not adopted as a guaranteed duration. Split trips, distance after dismounting/death and server changes remain UNSURE. Keep a travel log if the counter stalls instead of assuming more circling always repairs it.

Planning and evidence

Equipment/DLC: No paid pack is established for the published route.

Other players: A companion in the Kayak is explicitly required.

Hizzle's 3/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset/shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless stated above. The Steam group/card label does not prove equipment needs no DLC. Console Edition has a different catalogue. A patch review is not an in-game test; Hizzle has not tested this method.
