This Farming Simulator 25 beginner guide recommends New Farmer, one manageable crop cycle and an equipment check before buying anything. Learn how to prepare, sow, harvest and deliver one field before adding an animal business.

Make the first save useful

The official manual recommends New Farmer for beginners because it supplies land and machines. Farm Manager asks you to assemble the operation, while Start from Scratch puts much more emphasis on earning your way in. Starting money is configurable, so use the actual new-game screen rather than an old preset cash figure.

Hizzle recommends Riverbend Springs for a first grain farm. This is an editorial choice, not a claim that the other maps are harder in every setting. The base game also includes Hutan Pantai and Zielonka; expansion maps require their matching content.

1. Read the current Help window and identify your tractor, cultivation tool, seeder, harvester, header and trailer.
2. Inspect a field's crop and growth state. Harvest an existing ready crop before preparing that same field for another.
3. Check the calendar before selecting the next crop. Turning seasonal growth off relaxes calendar restrictions; it does not instantly grow a harvest.
4. Keep money for seed, fertilizer, wages, fuel, repairs and any lease running fees.
5. Use a nearby contract to learn an unfamiliar job with borrowed equipment.

Pick the right rules

These opening steps use the base game. Optional Precision Farming replaces the simple fertilizer-stage approach with soil and crop targets. Patch 1.25.1.0 is the current checked website release; a November 2024 video cannot show every current menu or tool feature.
