Farming Simulator 25 how to spread lime: attach a spreader with the lime fill icon, fill it with lime, then apply it to the field that needs it. A solid-fertilizer spreader is not necessarily lime-compatible.

Base-game approach

The official manual says to check the field's lime requirement, generally after every third harvest, and apply lime before the next plowing or cultivation. Match the selected tool and its displayed action prompts, and inspect field information after a pass.

Do not substitute fertilizer for lime. Fertilizer supplies a different part of crop management. If a tool refuses the load, check its accepted fill types before assuming the pallet or refill station is broken.

With Precision Farming

Use the pH target and soil information in the Precision Farming interface. The automatic application option is designed to match the local soil target; the base-game calendar shortcut does not replace that diagnosis.

The current Precision Farming 1.5.1 changelog includes manual soil sampling and environmental-score fixes. Earlier updates address invisible pH values and lime application accuracy. Hizzle recommends checking both the base-game build and optional pack version before following an old report.

UNSURE: one universal optimum pH for every soil type, exact cost per hectare and every custom-map field value. Use the target shown for that field rather than a single number copied from a different soil.
