Farming Simulator 25 how to feed cows: take feed supported by the selected cattle housing to its food unloading area, unload it and inspect the animal panel. For a dairy operation, the manual recommends Total Mixed Ration, or TMR, to improve milk productivity.

Build a feed route

Check the housing description before buying cattle. Some buildings include automatic water or a feeding robot; others need more handling. Match your trailer or bale-handling equipment to the supplies and the unloading point.

1. Inspect the housing's accepted food and current stock.
2. Bring a supported food or a correctly prepared TMR mix.
3. Place the load at the appropriate food trigger and follow the displayed unload action.
4. Confirm that the stored-food number increases. A bale lying nearby does not prove that the building accepted it.
5. Check water, bedding where applicable, animal health, age and available capacity separately.

Mix carefully

The manual describes a mixer wagon and hay, silage, straw and mineral feed as TMR components, and a feeding robot as an alternative. Use the actual mixer's ingredient indicators and resulting fill type. Hizzle has not established one universal ratio for every mixer or mod; do not fill a wagon blindly from an old recipe.

UNSURE: a fully reconciled current breed/age milk table, exact per-animal daily feed rates, optional robot recipes and every expansion cattle variant. The manual's broad dairy advice is not proof that every beef breed produces milk. Avoid spending on a full dairy chain until your actual animals and housing match that plan.
