Rust Terror in the Deep achievement: drive a submarine into an underwater-lab moonpool. Single source: the published method has the achievement seeker drive from the ocean surface into the lab, rather than arrive as a passenger.
Plan a submarine visit, not a swim-only arrival
Check the map/server for an underwater lab and obtain a usable submarine. The older method identifies Fishing Village as a purchase route, but this draft does not turn its historic availability into a fixed current price. Prepare fuel and a route back before diving.
Drive from the surface toward the lab, enter through its moonpool and inspect Steam credit. The driver/from-surface condition is one author's route, not an independently verified complete trigger specification. An underwater-lab map marker is useful navigation evidence, not proof that every generated layout has identical access.
Passenger credit, switching drivers underwater and entering a lab after a server restart remain UNSURE. Visiting the lab can also support the Orange Roughy attempt in Rust Pro Angler achievement, but fishing and submarine-arrival counters are distinct. PC lab guidance is not evidence of current Console Edition availability.
Planning and evidence
Equipment/DLC: No paid pack is established for the published route.
Other players: The published route makes the achievement seeker the driver; passenger parity remains UNSURE.
Hizzle's 4/10 difficulty is an editorial setup estimate. Completion time, current server eligibility, reset/shared credit and every missable exception remain UNSURE unless stated above. The Steam group/card label does not prove equipment needs no DLC. Console Edition has a different catalogue. A patch review is not an in-game test; Hizzle has not tested this method.
