Start a global PvE Chanter with Onslaught, Spinning Strike, Impactful Crush and Dark Crush, keeping Recuperation ready for recovery. Your first job is to understand what makes Dark Crush available. Your second is to choose four Stigmas that help the actual party.
Status: Single source for the complete recommendation. Hizzle compared creator guides and individual skill records, but those references disagree on passive order, Stigmas and macros. The data records identify the October 28 global client. The November 4 full notes were reviewed; maintenance completion remains unconfirmed. Hizzle has not played or tested this build.
The October 21 notes announced a correction to Spinning Strike's displayed effects. That notice is not evidence of a new cooldown-removal rank or a guaranteed damage gain. The latest November 4 notes do not name a Chanter skill change.
The staff is your party toolbox
Keep the main damage buttons, Recuperation and movement controls easy to reach. Several attacks work at range, but Onslaught's listed reach is 4m. Standing far away throughout the fight does not preserve the same MP-recovery loop.
Think of your bar as a tiny workshop: Onslaught refills the supplies, trigger skills open a work order, and Dark Crush delivers it. The order expires quickly. Neither a big staff nor an attractive damage number excuses missing the boss's next attack.
Chanter brings party support alongside damage. UNSURE: that this setup can replace a Cleric in a particular current Hard or Ludra encounter. Agree the healing job before entering rather than discovering the gap after the first party-wide hit.
Dark Crush needs permission, even without a cooldown
The individual records give these activation windows:
- Spinning Strike: Dark Crush becomes available for 2 seconds on skill use.
- Impactful Crush: another 2-second window on skill use.
- Marchutan's Wrath: a 3-second window on skill use, if you equip that Stigma.
Dark Crush has a listed 5-second base cooldown. Its total-level-16 option removes that cooldown when selected. This does not erase the activation condition. The cooldown and the permission window are separate checks.
Before that option, spread triggers around Dark Crush's cooldown. After selecting it, follow a usable trigger promptly with Dark Crush. Do not spend every trigger at once and assume their windows form a stored queue.
Incandescent Blow is a filler attack. Its checked record does not name a Dark Crush window, so this page does not treat every ranged or damaging skill as a trigger. Older creator material also recommends Ensnaring Mark for activation. UNSURE: its current global identity and trigger wording in the checked data; it is excluded from this starter's four slots.
Total skill level and selected slots are different
Points buy an ordinary active skill through 10. Bonus levels from gear, Arcana and Daevanion can carry it higher. Reaching a milestone makes an option available; you still select it.
Active Specialty slots open at 8, 12 and 20. Total 16 opens a later option while leaving you with two slots, not three.
Hizzle's learning setup uses these legal choices:
- Dark Crush, total 16: select guaranteed Critical Hit and cooldown removal. Leave the Piercing Strike chain out of this two-slot setup. At total 20, the third slot can accommodate it.
- Onslaught, total 12: select extra MP restored and the on-hit Spinning Strike cooldown reduction. Its checked later option adds Storm Chain, but reaching 16 does not give you a third slot for all three.
- Spinning Strike, total 12: select the shorter cooldown and fewer-targets damage option. Both unlock at 8; total 12 supplies the second slot. The Seal option is an alternative, not a free addition.
- Spinning Strike, total 16: the option that bypasses Block/Evasion and guarantees a Critical Hit competes for those same two slots. Swap deliberately or wait for total 20 to keep three choices.
- Recuperation, total 12: extra consecutive use/stacking healing over time plus the immediate percentage-heal option is a recovery-oriented pair. Its stronger cleanse choice competes for space.
If your ranks are lower, keep the reachable version and build toward it. A screenshot of somebody else's total level is not a point allocation you can copy immediately.
Give MP and recovery a real job
Onslaught restores MP. Its total-12 selected option reduces Spinning Strike's cooldown by 1 second on hit. This is a named skill reduction, not a promise to refresh your whole bar. If MP is comfortable, its Multi-Hit choice is an alternative to the MP choice, not an extra third selection before 20.
Incandescent Blow spends MP. Its early cost-reduction choice is useful while supplies are tight; it does not become a mana generator because a rotation uses it often.
Recuperation heals the caster and party members within the listed 40m, removes one debuff in the base record and provides healing over time. An early selected option increases the cleanse to up to two debuffs. Do not promise removal of every encounter effect or unlimited instant party recovery.
Rushing Smash moves you toward a target. Its total-12 option resets its cooldown on defeating an enemy. That is useful while clearing ordinary enemies, not a repeatable reset against a living boss. Keep the decision to rush manual while learning a fight.
Gust Rampage needs a nearby target afflicted with Stagger. Its early recovery choices trade HP absorption against MP recovery or mobility. Keep that conditional attack distinct from a tool that causes the required Stagger state.
Equip four Stigmas, then decide what to replace
For a first damage-and-party setup, use this four-slot reference from the Ulvier/global comparison:
- Undefeated Mantra for the shared damage/tolerance aura.
- Sprint Mantra for movement and chance-based recovery on attacks.
- Marchutan's Wrath for another Dark Crush trigger.
- Power of the Storm for a planned party speed/cooldown window.
This is a starting set, not a demonstrated best-in-slot result. Rank effects are automatic Stigma milestones, unlike manually selected active Specialties. Undefeated Mantra adds Critical Hit at 5, Accuracy at 10, Critical Damage Boost at 15 and Double Chance at 20. Sprint Mantra's incoming-heal milestone is 5; its Natural Stamina Regen milestone is 10. Do not assign the latter to a rank-5 setup.
The later community comparison lists Guardian Blessing alongside those four. That makes five names. Hizzle's explicit alternative: replace Sprint Mantra with Guardian Blessing, leaving Undefeated Mantra, Marchutan's Wrath, Power of the Storm and Guardian Blessing. Its level-15 milestone enhances Wind's Promise for the duration. Merely equipping a low-rank copy does not grant that effect. This substitution is an editorial comparison of roles, not an independently verified damage improvement.
Guardian Blessing's personal HP effect also does not turn it into a party heal. If the party needs different recovery or protection, revisit the four-slot set together instead of silently adding a fifth skill.
Coordinate the exact Cleric overlap
Undefeated Mantra's record names the Damage Boost component of Cleric's Light of Protection as non-stacking. The higher-level skill effect applies; at equal levels, Undefeated Mantra takes precedence. This does not prove that every defensive or additional rank effect of either skill is duplicated.
Power of the Storm has a separate restriction: its effect cannot be received while Cleric's Earth's Blessing effect is active. The checked record also gives different cooldown-reduction values for caster and party. Do not assume every ally receives the caster's percentage.
Discuss which buffs are present and when to use them. UNSURE: the precise application to cooldowns already running in the current live client. This page recommends coordinating before the party spends its major skills, without claiming that the buff rewinds existing timers. See AION 2 Cleric PvE build: healing and Condemnation for the other side of that conversation.
A readable learning loop
- Check the selected Specialties and four equipped Stigmas. Make sure your intended Mantras are active.
- Agree the party-buff window and move into a safe attacking position.
- Use one available trigger, then Dark Crush during its short window.
- Use Onslaught to support MP and the selected Spinning Strike reduction. Fill with Incandescent Blow when you can afford it.
- Before cooldown removal, wait for Dark Crush to recover before spending the next trigger solely for it. Afterwards, repeat with another available trigger.
- Interrupt the damage routine for movement, a necessary cleanse or recovery. Avoid an automatic rush into a danger zone.
Attack Preparation and Wind's Promise are the first passives to inspect: the former supplies broad offensive/defensive bonuses, while the latter rewards Critical Hits with a chance-based extra hit. A guaranteed Dark Crush crit is not a guarantee that every passive proc occurs. The references disagree about the rest of the passive order.
This is Hizzle's learning sequence, not a measured optimal rotation. See AION 2 settings for clearer combat for in-client controls. Exact macro delays, finished gear/stat/Arcana priorities, full Daevanion paths and current Ludra solutions remain UNSURE. Keep healing and movement available while learning rather than assuming a copied macro understands the encounter.
