Keep the belt and amulet's upgrade paths in mind, and check every transfer preview before consuming useful equipment. Item rarity alone does not tell you the total value of a replacement.
Belt and amulet checklist
The community references describe the Noble Belt and Revelation Amulet as continuing progression items: enhance a version to +10, then review the next rarity in Substance Morph. They associate belt scrolls with Strongholds and amulet scrolls with Monolith Resonance.
- Inspect the exact item name and grade.
- Read which scroll/material it needs and where that material comes from.
- At the required enhancement, inspect the morph recipe and resulting item.
- Check equipment presets if the item cannot be selected.
- Confirm the result and cost before proceeding. Do not consume another useful item because its name looks similar.
Enhancement, random lines and transfers
Single source: the enhancement reference says ordinary equipment upgrades through +10 succeed, with chance-based steps later. It also distinguishes transferable enhancement/Soul Binding from socket stones, Potential and other lines that do not carry through the same transfer process. This is not a blanket safety guarantee for runes or every item type.
Hizzle's recommendation: compare the before/after window line by line. Record the source item, destination item, retained properties, lost properties and currency cost. If the preview does not make sense, stop and keep both pieces.
Why an old crafting guide can mislead
NC's October 28 update changed crafted-equipment Amplify limits and allowed additional Expedition-to-crafted transfer paths. Check AION 2 global patch notes: guide changes and limits before applying a guide that says those paths are impossible.
November 4's notes add guaranteed-success True Dragon and Star Dragon recipes. Their output is Bound, cannot be traded and does not trigger COMBO/Great Success. Existing recipes retain their different risk/reward terms. Check the selected recipe and output binding; the new option does not make every crafting route guaranteed or tradable.
Do not buy an expensive reroll because a stat list calls it mandatory. Exact value depends on class, available gear and the activity. Complete stat weights and a safe universal transfer recipe remain UNSURE in this starter guide.
