Build a global PvE Ranger around a manually charged Deadshot while Precision is active. Keep Gale Arrow and your chosen Stigma buffs useful, use Snipe for MP recovery, and develop the total skill ranks that unlock your cooldown tools.
Status: Single source for the complete build recommendation. The references share some creator and game-data material, and disagree on investment order, macros and alternate Stigmas. The individual skill pages identify the October 28 client. Hizzle reviewed the latest November 4 notes but has not played or tested this setup.
Set up your attack bar
Equip a bow. Keep Deadshot and Marking Shot on separate, reachable manual inputs. Have Snipe, Gale Arrow, Drill Dart, Tempest Shot, Snare Shot and Burst Arrow available as your progression unlocks them.
The global base-point reference develops the main attacks alongside Focused Eye and Hunter's Resolve. Treat its point allocation as an initial plan. The total-rank targets below require bonuses; a newly leveled character will not have every effect just because the skill appears on the bar.
Keep Precision active for Deadshot
Marking Shot grants Precision and moves your character in the direction you input. The Deadshot reference states a 35% damage increase while the caster has Precision. That condition belongs to Deadshot; do not apply the same multiplier to every Ranger attack.
Aim Marking Shot's movement deliberately. Refresh the buff before a planned Deadshot instead of counting casts from somebody else's video. A cooldown proc, interruption or movement mechanic can change how many attacks fit into the window.
The selected five-second duration option is available at Marking Shot total 8 in the October 28 reference. Reaching 12 adds another Specialty slot and opens an extra consecutive-use choice. A guide saying to run the duration option at 12 does not mean it first unlocks at 12.
Hold Deadshot and plan your movement
Deadshot has three charge levels. A quick press and a held charge are different attacks. Keep the charge manual; a sequential attack macro does not supply the held input for you.
For total 16, the recent authored setup selects 30% Skill Speed and the newly available extra damage on hit option. The older creator comparison also describes choosing mobility instead of the damage option while learning. These are alternatives, not three simultaneous benefits.
Active Specialty slots open at totals 8, 12 and 20. At total 16, you still have only two slots. Total 20 allows a third choice, such as mobile casting alongside the other two in the authored setup. Check what you equipped before assuming you can walk through a charge.
Hizzle's recommendation: choose a clear opening before charging, with enough room to answer the next mechanic. Leave danger when necessary. Mobile casting does not establish that a boss attack is safe to ignore.
Which skill upgrades change the loop?
Inspect and select the options your current total ranks support:
- Snipe 12: its selected option reduces Deadshot's cooldown by one second on hit. Snipe also restores MP in its base description.
- Snipe 16: opens the Tempest Arrow chain option. With two slots, choosing the Deadshot cooldown option and Tempest Arrow gives up the earlier Multi-Hit, HP or extra-MP choices until another slot is available.
- Gale Arrow 16: opens a selected ten-second cooldown reduction. Its separate total-12 option improves the buff when fewer targets are hit. Do not treat a build's quoted buff percentage as the unconditional base effect.
- Drill Dart 16: opens an extra activation option. The total-12 Multi-Hit choice is separate. An HP-absorption choice must fit the same slot limit.
- Tempest Shot 16: opens a selected 20% Skill Speed increase. It is that skill's option, not a permanent 20% increase to your whole character's Combat Speed.
Ordinary active-skill points stop at base 10 in the referenced system. Daevanion, Soul Binding and Arcana bonuses raise the total further. Check those totals before replacing a ring or consuming a useful gear piece. See AION 2 gear upgrades: belt, amulet and spending.
Choose four Stigmas, then develop them
The starting group setup here uses Vaizel's Authority, Bow of Blessing, Supporting Fire and Griffon Arrow. These four recur in the recent global references. Earlier creator comparisons also show Explosive Arrow replacing Supporting Fire or replacing Griffon Arrow. Those are two different four-skill alternatives; Explosive Arrow is not a free fifth slot.
Unlike selected active-skill Specialties, Stigma milestone effects accumulate as you raise the Stigma. Vaizel's Authority 20 is the major cooldown milestone: the October 28 reference gives a 50% chance on a critical hit to reduce all skill cooldowns by one second while its buff lasts. It is a chance-based effect, not an unconditional full reset or a permanent Combat Speed buff.
Later milestones include Griffon Arrow 15, whose enhanced Crimson Flames adds an on-hit damage interaction, and Supporting Fire 15, which shortens that Stigma's cooldown by 30 seconds. These effects explain why a developed setup behaves differently from four low-rank Stigmas.
The sources disagree on where every point after Vaizel 20 should go. The recent authored setup develops Griffon Arrow 15 before finishing the other buffs; the community compilation shows different intermediate budgets and later all-20 targets. UNSURE: one optimal allocation for every character and encounter. Do not refund useful skills solely to reproduce an endgame screenshot.
Slow comes before Burst Arrow
Burst Arrow's referenced target condition is Slow or Root. Snare Shot supplies Slow. If Burst Arrow will not activate, check that condition and its remaining duration rather than assuming the button or macro is broken.
Its cooldown reset also needs care: the October 28 data places the selectable 25% on-hit reset chance at total 16. An older creator guide describes adding it at 20. Total 20 provides the third active slot, but the option's listed unlock is 16. Check your current skill window; Hizzle has not confirmed the live client after maintenance.
A learning sequence before a faster setup
- Choose a position that leaves room for Marking Shot's movement and the boss mechanic.
- Activate your chosen offensive Stigma buffs when a useful attack window is opening.
- Establish Gale and, if equipped, Griffon Arrow's damage effect. Use Marking Shot for Precision.
- Hold and release Deadshot while the buff and safe opening remain available.
- Continue your other attacks, use Snipe for MP and its selected cooldown effect, and watch Deadshot's actual readiness.
- Refresh Precision and your buffs deliberately. Apply Slow before Burst Arrow when that attack is part of the sequence.
This is Hizzle's learning order from the documented conditions, not a measured best rotation. For stacked in-client controls, see AION 2 settings for clearer combat. Keep charge, Marking Shot and encounter decisions manual. UNSURE: a universal macro delay, a fixed number of Deadshots per buff window, or a guaranteed damage increase from one input arrangement.
Gear and current patch limits
Develop the skill bonuses that make your selected setup function before chasing an expensive perfect roll. Exact stat weights, Accuracy/critical targets, Arcana sets, full Daevanion routes and new Ludra damage requirements remain UNSURE. Korean high-rank targets and tooltip-per-cooldown rankings do not establish global performance.
The full November 4 notes contain no named Ranger skill change. That does not validate every older build or establish maintenance completion. Current boss tactics remain separate work in AION 2 Ludra: requirements and launch preparation and AION 2 dungeons: prepare for your first group.
