Build a global PvE Spiritmaster around spirit skill uses that generate Four Elements, then use Elemental Fusion when that resource is ready. Support the cycle with Combustion, Cold Shock, Dimensional Control and a deliberate four-Stigma setup.
Status: Single source for the complete build recommendation. The references disagree on three versus four summon choices, selected options, passive order and buff timing. Several recommendations come from older global or KR/TW material. Individual skill records identify the October 28 client. Hizzle checked the latest November 4 notes but has not played or tested this setup.
Start with an orb and a readable bar
Keep Cold Shock, Combustion, Elemental Fusion, Jointstrike: Curse and Dimensional Control available as they unlock. Add Fire, Water and Earth summon skills, with Wind available if your current cycle or recovery needs it.
The global base-point plan develops these with Spirit Strike, Spirit's Descent and Consecutive Countercurrent. Other authors prioritize Mental Focus earlier. UNSURE: one universally best passive order or stat target. A copied high-rank setup can rely on bonuses your early character does not have.
Four Elements counts skill uses
Elemental Fusion's reference says you gain an element each time a Spirit uses its skill. At four stacks you receive Four Elements, which allows Fusion. Casting Fusion removes that status, and the description says you cannot gain additional elements while Four Elements is already active.
That makes the distinction between a Spirit's ordinary attack and its skill important. The summon records describe an initial skill and later skill chances during attacks; simply counting four button presses is not a guarantee of four successful resource events under every combat condition.
Watch the status and Fusion's availability. Its base reference has no ordinary cooldown, but it still requires Four Elements. A selected regain chance is not an unlimited repeat-cast promise.
Dimensional Control has its own short opportunity
Dimensional Control becomes available briefly when a Spirit uses its skill. Its base description restores MP. Keep it easy to see so you can respond to the actual trigger rather than relying on a fixed delay copied from another player.
At total 12, you have room for two selected active options. The older comparison pairs delayed extra damage with Multi-Hit. Those options are available from total 8; total 12 supplies the second slot. Its total-12 pull option is another choice, not a free third effect.
Choose two options before total 20
Ordinary active points stop at base 10. Bonuses from Daevanion, gear and Arcana raise the total. Active Specialty slots open at totals 8, 12 and 20, so total 16 still has only two slots.
For Elemental Fusion, inspect these competing options:
- Delayed extra damage and Element Boost are available at total 8.
- Total 12 opens a charged version with increased damage.
- Total 16 opens a 25% chance to regain Four Elements.
A developed instant-cast example at total 20 can fit delayed damage, Element Boost and the regain chance. At 16, one of those must be left out. Adding the charge option also means replacing something; a three-choice instant plan cannot quietly gain a fourth benefit.
UNSURE: whether the charged or instant version is better for your current encounter. A longer held cast consumes time and needs a safe opening. The sources do not establish a fresh global damage benchmark that settles every choice.
Combustion and Cold Shock have different resource jobs
The displayed base records give 100 MP restored by Cold Shock and 120 MP spent by Combustion. Water Spirit's attacks also have an MP-recovery component. These are reasons to keep recovery tools available while developing a faster cycle.
Cold Shock's selected total-12 option grants 2% Attack on landing Earth Tremor, up to five stacks. Its MP-recovery option is separate. At total 12 or 16, choose that second slot deliberately rather than assuming you also keep Multi-Hit and every survival option.
Combustion's selected Skill Speed option opens at 12, and Ashy Call opens at 16. At total 20 a third choice can fit, such as the fewer-targets bonus. MP-cost reduction competes for the same slots. Do not copy a three-choice late-game bar onto a two-slot character.
What each summon contributes
The Fire and Water records describe a 15% base skill chance on their attacks; Earth and Wind describe 10%. Each summon also has a selectable total-8 skill-activation option. Hizzle does not add these percentages into a guaranteed proc rate or ignore the listed Spirit skill cooldown.
Fire supplies an area attack; Water contributes MP recovery; Earth increases Enmity; Wind provides recovery effects. Each summon opens a selected 20% Spirit stats option at total 16. That option still occupies one of your two active slots.
The sources disagree on dropping Wind after early progression. A three-summon cycle and a four-summon cycle are different recommendations, not proof of a universal best bar.
Does the next summon replace the previous Spirit?
Single source for the current global replacement rule: Ulvier describes Fire, Water and Earth being dismissed when another Spirit is summoned. Treat those elemental buttons as a cycle rather than a promise of three permanent pets. The October 28 skill records separately describe dismissal by selecting the summon icon; that text alone does not establish automatic replacement.
Aion 2 Maps also describes one remaining elemental Spirit and says Ancient Spirit can accompany it. Its notes combine creator advice and client data. UNSURE: independent confirmation of every current global combination, particularly Ancient plus an elemental Spirit, and which coordinated assault occurs in that state. Do not generalize a normal elemental replacement rule into proof that the next summon must remove Ancient Spirit.
Hizzle's learning recommendation: notice which Spirit remains after a cycle. Water's MP recovery depends on its attacks, so the presence of Water on your bar does not guarantee uninterrupted recovery while a different Spirit is fighting. Likewise, do not total every Spirit-specific Jointstrike effect as though every listed row activates together.
The reference describes a manual dismissal control, not a reason to dismiss everything whenever Fusion is dark. UNSURE: that manual dismissal alone always supplies an element in the current global build. The checked resource condition remains a Spirit skill use. Read the actual Four Elements status rather than counting icons or assuming every disappearance triggers it.
Pick four Stigmas
The common starting set is Summon: Ancient Spirit, Enhance: Spirit's Benediction, Jointstrike: Corrode and Flame Blessing.
For a specific stagger/damage-tool alternative, Hizzle's proposed substitution is Jointstrike: Destructive Attack in Flame Blessing's slot. The resulting four are Ancient Spirit, Benediction, Corrode and Destructive Attack. This removes Flame Blessing's personal buff. It is a labeled starting alternative based on the skill roles, not a verified best boss loadout.
Jointstrike: Corrode's description increases damage taken from the Spirit and adds damage over time. Its level-5 milestone adds another Spirit-damage effect. Do not promote that wording into a universal damage bonus for every party member.
Jointstrike: Curse and Corrode list different coordinated attacks for different Spirits. Check the intended summon and target; a copied skill name alone does not establish that every Spirit-specific effect occurs together.
Ancient Spirit 15 means five attacks
The Ancient Spirit reference gives a 30-second summon with a 90-second base cooldown. It grants Four Elements each time it uses its skill. The base description says it reuses that skill after seven basic attacks; its level-15 Stigma milestone changes this to five basic attacks.
This is an attack count, not a fixed five-second timer. Combat interruptions and attack speed can affect when the count is reached. Its level-10 milestone separately enhances Spirit's Descent's activation chance and damage, and level 20 enhances the Ancient Spirit's stats.
Spirit's Descent itself has a summon-related damage window, extended for Ancient Spirit in the reference. None of this establishes permanent Ancient uptime or a fixed number of Fusion casts for every character.
Separate an opening order from a snapshot rule
Benediction's skill record affects the caster and Spirit for 10 seconds, with healing each second. Its level-5 milestone adds immediate percentage recovery; level 10 enhances Spirit Strike. That is different from Flame Blessing's 20-second, chance-based extra-damage effect in the checked record. Neither duration is the same as Ancient Spirit's 30-second lifetime.
For a Single source opening example, Ulvier puts the equipped buffs before Ancient Spirit, then cycles elemental summons and Jointstrike attacks. This is a usable opening reference. It does not establish that every buff remains on the summon after its own displayed duration ends.
Metaroad makes a wider claim that summoned Spirits retain the caster's stats from summon time. Corpus's older creator comparison instead recommends Benediction while Spirits are present. These statements need to be checked effect by effect: changing the caster's Attack, applying a buff to a Spirit and restoring a Spirit's HP are different operations.
UNSURE: which caster stats snapshot, which Spirit buffs update after summoning, whether a new elemental Spirit inherits a currently active Benediction, and what happens when that buff expires. Do not assume that a character-sheet increase updates every existing summon, or that a pre-summon cast proves every later Spirit receives the full remaining effect. Keep Benediction available for its documented recovery job rather than treating it solely as an invisible damage multiplier.
A learning checklist for the cycle
- Check your total ranks, selected Specialty slots and equipped four Stigmas.
- Choose the target and safe position. If following the Single source opening above, use the equipped buffs before Ancient Spirit. Keep their durations and target wording in mind.
- Cycle the elemental summons your setup supports, noticing which one remains and watching the actual resource events. Keep the Ancient coexistence and buff-inheritance limits above separate from confirmed triggers.
- Use Fusion when Four Elements is available and a safe attack window exists. Respond to Dimensional Control's brief opportunities.
- Use Cold Shock for MP recovery and its selected chain effects, with Combustion and the selected Jointstrike tools filling useful openings.
- Reassess after a target swap, Spirit loss or boss mechanic. Resume the resource cycle instead of assuming the macro preserved it.
This is Hizzle's learning checklist, not a measured optimal rotation. See AION 2 settings for clearer combat for in-client controls. Universal macro delays, full gear/stat/Arcana/Daevanion optimization and current Ludra pet-management tactics remain UNSURE.
The latest full November 4 notes list no named Spiritmaster skill change. The separate new Ludra event announcement is not evidence of a tested Spiritmaster raid method or confirmed maintenance completion.
