Slay the Spire 2 patch notes: Main versus Beta

Slay the Spire 2 patch notes checked November 5 put the guide on Main 0.107.1, with Beta 0.111.0 reviewed separately. Mega Crit plans new Beta content and a Main catch-up for November 12; that planned update is not treated as live here.

Major Update 2 added Steam Workshop support and the Bestiary. It replaced the old Doormaker boss with Aeonglass, so a guide that sends every current run to Doormaker is using older encounter context.

The update changed Conflagration, Drum of Battle, Regent’s Parry and Furnace, alongside many enemy and multiplayer fixes. Hizzle’s build examples use the published Main values rather than assuming a newer article describes the same branch.

It also changed the game’s random-number implementation after correlated outcomes were found. An old seed-correlation trick is not a current guaranteed route just because the same seed text still exists.

Beta differences that change decisions

• Expect a Fight becomes a three-Energy Block card in 0.111.0 instead of the older Energy-generating effect.
• Regalite loses Block, while several Regent Star costs change.
• Shroud gains more Block, and Time’s Up no longer Exhausts.
• Save-copy fixes specifically address declining mod loading; they are not silently described as Main behavior.

Those are selected relevant changes, not a substitute for the complete official notes. Earlier Beta patches can rework a card before the latest one changes it again; compare the cumulative current state rather than one old delta.

What stays unconfirmed

The developer places Steam achievements at 1.0, without a calendar launch date. Retroactive award credit, every mod interaction and future platform rollout remain UNSURE. This page records source review, not in-game testing or a promise that the next patch will arrive unchanged.
