Slay the Spire 2 platforms currently mean Steam Early Access on Windows, macOS and Linux, according to the checked developer FAQ and store. Early Access began March 5, 2026. A future-console plan is not a released PS5, Xbox, Switch or mobile edition.

What the developer confirms

Mega Crit says the game supports Steam Deck and online co-op through Steam friends. The FAQ describes console and mobile versions as likely coming after Early Access, without committing to a complete platform-by-platform launch schedule.

The first game has its own console and mobile editions. Those availability lists do not transfer to the sequel merely because the names are similar. Likewise, compatibility with a controller on PC does not establish a standalone console release.

The 1.0 date stays open

The developer’s estimate is roughly one to two years in Early Access, tied to the game being ready. That is not a confirmed calendar date for 1.0 or for any port. A fan countdown based on that range remains an estimate.

The planned November 12 update is an Early Access branch update. It should not be described as the final release or evidence that every planned feature is finished.
