AION 2 Fire Temple speedrun: Fire Temple Exploration has 20-minute and 10-minute speedrun goals; Normal Conquest adds a seven-minute goal. Hizzle's plan below is Worked out by Hizzle, reasoned from the published conditions and the ordinary boss route; it is not a confirmed achievement speed route.
Targets and the reward for each tier
| Mode and tier | Time and reward |
|---|---|
| Exploration I | 20 minutes; one Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 3,000 Kina (Bound) |
| Exploration II | 10 minutes; one Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 4,000 Kina (Bound) |
| Normal Conquest I | 20 minutes; one Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 5,000 Kina (Bound) |
| Normal Conquest II | 10 minutes; one Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 8,000 Kina (Bound) |
| Normal Conquest III | 7 minutes; one Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), 10,000 Kina (Bound) |
These are per-tier rewards, not a new reward for every later run. The database's step targets 1/2/3 are not a requirement to clear three times inside seven minutes: its progress-condition rows list one qualifying clear for each time condition. UNSURE: whether one fast clear awards every lower tier immediately or the journal requires claiming/activating tiers in sequence.
Before the timed attempt
Learn AION 2 Fire Temple guide: bosses and flame walls first. Exploration opens at character level 35/item level 500; Normal Conquest at level 45/item level 2,100. Entry eligibility does not establish seven-minute readiness. Agree on the same route, console operators and a ready signal before entering. Sort consumables, skill choices and inventory before the run rather than opening menus between encounters.
Kromede's roughly five-minute Frenzy belongs to her fight. It is a different clock from the achievement's whole-dungeon target. Killing her before Frenzy does not establish a seven-minute dungeon clear.
Worked out by Hizzle: establish a clean full-route result
- Select the intended mode and check which speedrun tier your journal currently shows. Do not select a historical Hard row: NC corrected unintended Hard menu options on November 4.
- For your own conservative record, start a stopwatch before entering and keep it running through travel and loading. This is an editorial measurement, not a claim that the game's timer starts there.
- Follow a route the party already knows. Use the consoles to remove the falling-fire hazard, avoid the optional Rotan detour and keep accidental extra pulls away from the group. Do not introduce a new glide or wall reset during the achievement attempt.
- Fight both mid-bosses on this first recorded route. This avoids building the method around an unconfirmed achievement skip; it is not a claim both are mandatory for the speed condition. Use AION 2 Fire Temple guide: bosses and flame walls for the actual attacks.
- Gather the party at the final encounter before starting. Spread for targeted lines, move for the wall gaps and respond to clones rather than forcing damage through lethal attacks. Losing a player also loses their remaining damage and recovery time.
- Defeat Kromede, complete the normal finish sequence and inspect your own journal before leaving. Note the game's displayed time, your separate stopwatch and which tier unlocked. A reward cube claim is a separate choice; we have not established that it starts, ends or is required by the achievement clock.
Why this plan: a complete ordinary route removes dependence on unproven shortcuts. Preparing first and avoiding detours reduces wasted travel and menu time without inventing a boss damage benchmark. Twenty minutes is the first target to establish; tighten the same successful route toward ten, then seven in Normal. These are planning priorities, not a guarantee the route meets each deadline.
Where time is being lost
Mark your own elapsed time at the entrance, after the second mid-boss and after the final clear. These are Hizzle's comparison points, not official scoring splits. If travel consumes most of a failed attempt, fix navigation and party separation first. If the last fight consumes it, review deaths, movement and damage uptime before copying a different route. Keep a safety margin; we do not know how the server rounds an exact deadline.
UNSURE: exact server timer start/end, loading/queue treatment, wipe/reset behavior, late joins, disconnects, skip eligibility and tier chaining. No guaranteed time, Combat Power floor or measured speedrun is established. A boss reset is not proof the dungeon clock reset too. Do not spend entries repeatedly assuming it does.
Hizzle's difficulty estimate is 4/10 for the Exploration targets and 7/10 for the Normal sequence, from its tighter final target and party execution, not gameplay measurements. Online play is required; this plan recommends a coordinated party, not a mandatory class composition. No DLC requirement is listed by these goals; permanent missability is UNSURE. If you try the plan, report the mode, build, finish time and actual unlock result. We have not tested it in-game.
