- Cost: about 50 thousand Cells. Crew cap 100.
- Software and hardware installs affect many generator tiers at once, so they deserve more points than single-tier installs.
- Start order: split your first 10 points between Improved Tech Software and Improved Tech Hardware (5 each) to open the next tier. Then 1 point each in Precise Calculations, Optimized Chipsets (MK1) and Optimized Power Supplies (MK2).
- Steady state: about 5 Software : 5 Hardware : 1 for each single-tier install, until caps stop you (unverified ratio).
- At 50 total points in previous installs, add Optimized Hard Drives (MK3) and Optimized Cell Vacuum (MK4).
- At 100, check the corner installs: Shard-Based Cooling Towers for shard runs, Modified Cell Turbines for all generators, Bio-Mech Cell Coating for Cells, Robo-Engineer Assistants for Research.
